Join 56 other FFN members within the network’s new online community hub

For those that don’t know, the FFN’s online chats moved from WhatsApp to the community platform Mighty Networks (supported by Edventure) at the end of last year.

There’s already been a fair bit of activity and opportunities posted in there, including a field trip to and lunch at The Long Table in Stroud, a dedicated forum for a communal eating space in Frome (likely FFN’s main 2024 project), discounts for fermentation workshops on behalf of Paula from GetPickled, a job opportunity for a head chef, and an invitation to Dartington Agroforestry.

The new platform's also promising to be a much better way to encounter other members (currently totalling 56) within the FFN’s online community, and in keeping track of upcoming events.

To join in, your invite's right here: Join FFN Main Forum

When you’ve tried it out, please do let us know what you think – whether the experience is positive or negative.

Similarly, do reach out if you’re still unsure about how the platform works (not 100% intuitive as it is).

It might be a bit unfamiliar and therefore a bit strange, but Mighty Networks has potential to be the ideal tool for offering a welcoming and supportive community around food in Frome.

Come help make it into a great place for local food people to hang out.
